A diploma in Biomedical Technology is a Diploma level Biomedical Engineering course. Biomedical engineering is largely responsible for the design of sophisticated medical equipment such as diagnostic and therapeutic machines and lifesaving devices like the artificial heart and dialysis machine. The course teaches the candidates the fundamental principles of operation and format of medical diagnostic and therapeutic devices like heart monitors, and cardiac defibrillators.
