Course Description:
This OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety training program designed for those working within the general industry. The course design structure and content provide vital information for those working the following jobs:
safety directors
foremen
field supervisors
This 30-hour program offers complete instruction on OSHA compliance issue training.
These programs are an orientation to occupational safety and health for employees. This 30-hour course provides information from OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 

Additional training is a requirement for all general industry workers. This course meets OSHA standards to teach the potential of specific job hazards and how to prevent them from happening.
Participants receive an OSHA 30-Hour General Industry course completion card in the mail after 1-2 weeks of completing the course. The 30-hour General Industry Online Course is NOT equivalent to the OSHA 510 or 511 courses. This 30-hour course does not meet the course prerequisites to take the OSHA 500 or OSHA 501 courses.
The OSHA 30-hour courses provide essential information that helps safety committee members, forepersons, supervisors, superintendents, managers, competent persons, safety staff, safety managers, and others monitor workplace safety and implement OSHA health and safety regulations apply to their workplaces. 
The OSHA 30-hour training course equips students with an extensive overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Students learn how to find the OSHA regulations that apply to the operations where they are working.

Course Credit 30 hours

Testing
At the end of each module, you must pass a 10-question module quiz. To pass, a score of 70% or higher is required. You have up to three opportunities to pass each module quiz. Failure to successfully pass the quiz results in a participant being locked out of the course. Participants who fail the exam after three tries are not allowed to continue with an online training format for your Outreach training.

Once you have completed each module, you must pass a final exam to receive full credit for the course. The final exam consists of 20 questions. It tests your knowledge of the information covered throughout the course. After three tries, participants who fail the exam are not allowed to continue with an online training format for your Outreach training.

Time to Completion
Once you enroll in the OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training course you have six months from the time you start this course to complete it in order to receive credit. After six months, your account will expire and you will be required to purchase the course again if you wish to complete it.
